Reham Khan claims directives to fire anchors coming from PM House
Reham Khan has accused the PM House of directing news channels to fire anchors who criticize the government. Her remarks come amidst ongoing layoffs of prominent journalists.

ISLAMABAD – Reham Khan, ex-wife of Prime Minister Imran Khan claimed on Friday that the PM House was directing owners of news channels to fire key anchors.

Her comment on Twitter came the very day presenter Syed Talat Hussain announced he was leaving Geo News.

“Reliable source says PM directing channel owners to fire key anchors who dared to criticize the ladla. Media silenced because the government is incompetent,” she tweeted.

Television channels have laid-off some prominent senior journalists and analysts in recent days, among them Nusrat Javeed (DawnNews) and Matiullah Jan (Waqt TV).
