Media ban on Nawaz Sharif soon, claims BOL journalist Faysal Aziz Khan
Faysal Aziz Khan announced that a media ban may soon be imposed on Nawaz Sharif. This decision comes as Sharif's controversial speeches are raising concerns among legal experts.

ISLAMABAD – Faysal Aziz Khan, Chief News Officer and President BOL News, claimed Saturday that a complete media ban was set to be slapped on former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

“The way he is making speeches and inciting people to violence, talking about the judiciary and the institutions, and claiming to bring about a revolution…very soon a media ban will be imposed on him,” Khan (pictured) said on air.

He said the ban would prevent Sharif from appearing in all media - social, print and electronic and he would also not be able to make public speeches.

“I have spoken with different law experts and petitions are being submitted in the courts in this regard.”

He will be the second prominent politician to face such a ban after MQM leader Altaf Hussain.

The Supreme Court disqualified Sharif last month in a landmark decision on the Panama Papers case.
