Cartoonist Sabir Nazar accuses PTI of plagiarizing his work

ISLAMABAD - Cartoonist Sabir Nazar Tuesday accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) of using his sketches without permission for its own propaganda against the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN).

Along with his tweet, Nazar posted a picture of the PTI post featuring a caricature of Hussain Nawaz. The party’s post says that PMLN which alleges Imran Khan does not respect national institutions is itself objecting to the Supreme Court and JIT.

This is not the first time Nazar has complained that political parties are using his sketches for their propaganda. When Pakistan People’s Party staged a protest in Lahore, he said his caricatures of the ruling family were used.

In his tweet Nazar took a dig at PTI. “PTI Social Media using my sketches for their propaganda....theft of my work to end corruption?”

However, of late Nazar has been coming up with a series of cartoons showing Imran Khan eavesdropping on judges who are to decide the Panama case and asking if he should get ready for the Prime Minister House.
