Armed men raid house of Dawn journalist Baqir Sajjad, steal cash and jewellery
Baqir Sajjad, a journalist for Dawn, was the victim of an armed robbery in Islamabad. The attackers threatened his family while searching for a former PTI legislator.

ISLAMABAD—Baqir Sajjad, Foreign Affairs Correspondent for Dawn, has tweeted about armed men entering his house in Islamabad and taking away cash and jewellery.

Baqir, a Pakistani fellow at the Wilson Center, said a group of masked men barged into his house, held his ailing mother and father at gunpoint, and took cash and jewellery away. However, he suspected the armed men were looking for his brother-in-law, a former PTI legislator.
