Zahid Gishkori moves to Hum News

ISLAMABAD—Investigative journalist Zahid Gishkori has parted ways with Samaa TV and joined Hum News as its editor of investigations.

“I’m unwaveringly commited to mission of telling facts to the public & speaking truth to the powerful at a time whn lies render our job more crucial,” Gishkori tweeted.

His stint at Samaa lasted just over one year during which he came up with many exclusive stories as the head of the channel’s investigative unit.

Gishkori, was at one time a print journalist with the Express Tribune before moving to the electronic media, joining Geo News in December 2015.

Naveid Siddiqui, chief operating officer at Hum News said on Twitter that Gishkori remains one of the best investigative reporters in the country with an immaculate track record of incisive, exclusive and detailed reports and features.
