YouTube channel of ARY Digital briefly hacked
ARY Digital's YouTube channel, with 29.6 million subscribers, faced a brief hack. The channel was restored after changes were made by the hackers.

KARACHI—ARY Digital YouTube channel, considered the fastest growing in Pakistan with at least 29.6 million subscribers, was briefly hacked.

The hackers changed the channel's name and the titles of the videos. According to ARY News, obscene language against Pakistan suggested it was the handiwork of Indian hackers.

ARY Digital said Indian cybercriminals gained unauthorized access to the YouTube channel run by ARY Digital.

As a direct result of this cyber-attack, the YouTube channel belonging to ARY Digital was compromised and inaccessible for a time. During this time, Indian hackers also tormented the YouTube community.

After some time, however, the channel was restored. "Please accept our heartfelt appreciation for your patience," ARY Digital stated.
