Two media persons injured as Sukkur protesters turn violent

SUKKUR: A journalist and a cameraman were among three injured Monday after a crowd protesting the kidnapping and murder of a 12-year old child attacked a media team covering the protest.
According to Geo News, the enraged protesters they threw stones at the media team and police officials outside the press club.
Geo reported that the crowd chanted slogans against media outlets after the riot broke out.
The injured, including a Geo News cameraman Nasir Jafri, were shifted to Civil Hospital for first aid, police said.
