Soft launch of Hum News on March 23
Hum News will soft launch on March 23, prioritizing social issues over politics. The channel will operate from a new building in Aabpara Market, Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD – Hum News managers have set March 23 as the date for the soft launch of the channel.

A source tells JournalismPakistan.com, that Hum News, a sister channel of Hum Entertainment, will focus largely on social issues.

“Politics will be covered but emphasis will be on highlighting social issues,” the source said.

In Islamabad, the channel will operate out of a new building in Aabpara Market which the Hum management has purchased.

The hiring for the new channel is currently on with a staff of about 100 already at work in Islamabad. Nadeem Raza is the director news.
