Show-cause notice to Jalwa for airing vulgar song

ISLAMABAD – Jalwa TV has been served a show-cause notice for airing a vulgar song on March 30.

Regulator PEMRA said Wednesday it had received a lot of complaints in this regard.

The song Jahan Tum Ho features a girl in a bikini which was not acceptable to viewers, PEMRA said.

The viewers have asked PEMRA to take strict action against the channel.

The authority has given seven days to Jalwa TV to submit a reply and explain why a fine of Rs10 lac not be imposed on it.
