Senior journalist Ijaz-ul-Haq to head APP Urdu service in Lahore

LAHORE—Senior journalist Ijaz-ul-Haq Shehdi has been appointed in charge of Urdu news service at the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) Lahore bureau.

He was already working in APP, and was promoted from Grade 17 to 18 some months ago. The APP Employees Union has welcomed the appointment.

Ijaz has vast experience in journalism, having worked for several newspapers during his career.
