Senior journalist and columnist Anwar Kidwai passes away
Anwar Kidwai, a respected journalist and columnist, has passed away in Lahore. He was known for his long career and contributions to Pakistani media and literature.

LAHORE – Syed Anwar Kidwai, a senior journalist and columnist with Jang died here Friday of cardiac arrest. He was in his 70s.

According to reports, he was admitted to hospital after collapsing on a road and died while he was being treated.

The Nation said Syed Anwer started his career with Nawa-i-Waqt and served the publication for 27 years and served as a chief reporter and editor reporting.

He also wrote books, one of them on Molana Shah Ahmad Norani and another on Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif, titled “Shahbaz-e-Pakistan”.
