Sabir Shakir's YouTube channel hacked
Prominent journalist Sabir Shakir's YouTube channel was hacked by unknown individuals. All videos were deleted, and the channel was renamed, causing significant concern.

ISLAMABAD—Unknown hackers defaced the YouTube channel of prominent journalist and former bureau chief ARY News, Sabir Shakir, renamed it to 'ARK Investments' and deleted all the previously uploaded videos from it.

Hackers also managed to live stream video transmission regarding the possible economic crisis in the wake of current turmoil due to the Taiwan issue.

Reportedly, there were about 3,000 videos posted on the channel, having around 1.5 million subscribers. "All videos have now been deleted, but efforts are on to recover the channel and hopefully it will be restored soon" Shakir stated in a video message posted on his official Twitter handle.

"I have no personal enmity with anyone, " Shakir further stated, maintaining that the channel was hacked to get financial benefit or curb his online presence on the internet.
