RIUJ presses for payment of salaries to Nawa-i-Waqt and Waqt TV staff

ISLAMABAD – The Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) has expressed concern over the delay in payment of salaries to staff at Nawa-i-Waqt and Waqt TV ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

Mubarak Zeb Khan (pictured), the newly-elected RIUJ president has written to Rameeza Nizami, Chief Editor Nawa-i-Waqt Group in this regard.

Khan said that not paying salaries to staff to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Eid was an injustice. He called for immediate disbursement of pays to the employees.
