RISJA constitutes committee to finalize voters' list
The RISJA established a committee to finalize the voters' list during a recent meeting. Senior journalist Nasir Aslam Raja will lead the five-member group.

ISLAMABAD – A meeting of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Sports Journalists Association (RISJA) Monday constituted a committee to finalize the voters’ list and give its recommendations besides reviewing other matters.

The five-member committee is headed by senior journalist Nasir Aslam Raja, an RISJA press release said.

The meeting, chaired by Acting President Zulfiqar Baig expressed concern over unconstitutional steps taken by a unification committee which the house agreed was attempting to divide RISJA.

Afzal Butt, President of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), and Shakeel Anjum, President National Press Club, Islamabad made brief speeches on the occasion.
