ISLAMABAD: Reham Khan, broadcast journalist and wife of Chairman PTI Imran Khan, is all set to step into showbiz with plans to produce two films this year.
Baaghi.tv reported Wednesday that Reham has started working on her first film tentatively titled as “Janaan.” It is a romantic movie and the plot revolves around the traditions and norms of the people living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Eminent drama writer-cum-actor Osman Khalid Butt is the writer of ‘Janaan’ with emerging star Armeena Rana Khan to play the lead role in the film.
Reham Khan's second project as producer may be a biopic of legend Pashto poet Khushal Khan Khattak.
Reham is already gearing up to start a new program on DawnNews Television that will highlight social issues like rape and honor killing etc.
