PTV Director IT Fakhar Hameed and spouse found mysteriously dead at home
Fakhar Hameed, 55, and his wife, Humaira Hameed, 50, were discovered dead at their home in Rawalpindi. Police are investigating the incident which involves an autopsy.

RAWALPINDI – Fakhar Hameed, Director Information Technology at Pakistan Television (PTV) and his wife were mysteriously found dead Tuesday.

The bodies of Hameed, 55 and his spouse Humaira Hameed, 50, were found in the bathroom at the couple’s home in Sadiqabad area.

Police are conducting an investigation and have sent the bodies for autopsy.

Dawn.com quoted SP Rawal Division Behram Khan as saying the couple's seven-year-old daughter had told them that upon returning from school, she saw both her parents lying on the bathroom floor.

The police officer said that after arriving at the scene they found Hameed without any clothes with some bruises on his head. No injuries could be seen on his wife's body.

SHO Sadiqabad, Chaudhry Zulfiqar said Hameed may have slipped while having a bath and his spouse on finding him dead, could have suffered cardiac arrest. She was reportedly a heart and cancer patient.

Dawn reported that the couple’s two servants who were present at home were being questioned.
