President NPC names chairpersons of three committees

ISLAMABAD: Shakeel Anjum, President of National Press Club, has constituted three committees to facilitate members and announced names of the respective heads.

An NPC announcement said Ayub Nasir of Daily Jang will head a committee to handle journalists' affairs related to police and administration. This committee will have two members from Rawalpindi and another two from Islamabad.

Senior journalist and former Managing Director Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), Muhammad Riaz has been named chairman of a committee tasked to organize national seminars, dialogues and lectures.

Myra Imran of The News is the chairperson of the third committee assigned to deal with the social sector and donor agencies.

Some more committees are also likely to be constituted soon.
