PFUJ condemns closure of AAP News
The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists has denounced the closure of AAP News TV by Malik Riaz. This abrupt decision affects hundreds of workers and comes at a critical time before Ramzan during the pandemic.

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) has strongly condemned the abrupt closure of AAP News TV without any notice and through an email by real state tycoon Malik Riaz (pictured).

In a joint statement, President PFUJ Shahzada Zulfiqar and Secretary-General Nasir Zaidi criticized the inhuman behavior of the seth mafia. They said the closure of AAP TV had rendered hundreds of workers jobless, a month before Ramzan and in a difficult time of coronavirus pandemic.

They called upon the media workers to stay united to fight the seth mentality which was anti-worker and believes only in profiteering.
