ISLAMABAD – National electronic media watchdog PEMRA Monday suspended Nickelodeon channel’s landing rights permission for showing cartoons dubbed in Hindi.
A release said the decision was taken after the channel was seen to have continuously violated PEMRA laws.
The authority announced on October 19 any satellite channel or those with landing rights, screening Indian content would face bans.
