PEMRA restores licenses of Business Plus and Zaiqa TV

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has restored the licenses of Business Plus and Zaiqa TV.

This decision was taken at the 136^th meeting of PEMRA Tuesday.

The licenses were suspended on October 27 after the channels failed to clear their license renewal dues.

The managers at these organizations have now assured PEMRA that all outstanding dues would be settled on time.

Business Plus, a 24-hour business news channel is run by the Media Times Group with Zaiqa TV being its sister channel that focuses on cooking.

Media Times also publishes the English language Daily Times newspaper.
