ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court was informed Monday that Pakistan Broadcasting Association (PBA) had failed to suggest names to fill slots of private members for Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA). Appearing before a three-judge bench led by Justice Jawwad S Khawaja in the media commission report case, Additional Attorney General Aamir Rehman said the PBA has not suggested names of private members to fill four slots in PEMRA. Aitzaz Ahsan, counsel for the PBA, endorsed that his client has not suggested any name to fill the slots of four private members in the authority. Later, the bench adjourned hearing of the matter for an indefinite period.
