ISLAMABAD—Anchor Paras Jahanzaib, who hosts Samaa TV's prime-time program "Newsbeat," has quit.
She gracefully bid farewell to the organization while praising the management's supportive role during her stint.
Jahanzaib also lauded the audience for always appreciating her. She hinted at appearing on the TV screen from another platform but didn't reveal the name.
She said: "I always remained loyal to my profession with zeal and zest. I faced many ups and downs, but my commitment to media never let me compromise on the integrity of journalistic values throughout my career."
Earlier in 2019, she left Samaa but rejoined them.
