Non-bailable arrest warrants for five journalists
The Anti-Terrorist Court in Mirpur Khas has issued non-bailable warrants for five Umerkot journalists. They face arrest for reporting on irregularities in the health sector.

UMERKOT—The Anti-Terrorist Court Mirpur Khas Division has issued non-bailable warrants for five senior members of the Umerkot Press Club.

The journalists Ali Murad Dal, Awi Gowswani, Allah Juriyu, Dilber Hussain, Mushtaque, and Niaz Rajar, are reportedly being targeted for highlighting irregularities in the Sindh Health Department.

Saddam Kunbher, Deputy Secretary Information, PTI Karachi, pointed this out in a tweet.

The ATC has directed station house officer (SHO) Umerkot City Police Station to arrest the journalists and produce them before the court on June 24.
