LAHORE - Dr. Ahsan Akhtar Naz, a former director at Punjab University's Institute of Communication Studies and a senior journalist died here Thursday of renal failure.
He was admitted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital last week where he passed away. Dr. Naz was very popular in journalistic circles and had the honor of teaching a large number of media students.
He did his Post Doctorate Research on “The Role of Global Elite Media in Interfaith Dialogue”, from Ernst University, Greifswald, Germany.
His funeral will be held Friday after Jumma prayers at the Staff Colony Mosque of Punjab University.
