ISLAMABAD – In a first, National Press Club, Islamabad has been granted a license for running a FM radio station which is likely to go on air later this month.
Shakeel Anjum, the club’s president told JournalismPakistan.com Monday the frequency for the channel will be allotted shortly.
As part of plans to run the station professionally, nominations for the board of directors have been made while an editorial board is to be constituted soon.
“Through this channel we will try and educate people on various issues and also help journalists by keeping them informed about professional matters,” Anujm said.
