Nasir Baig formally assumes charge at 92 News Television
Nasir Baig Chughtai has assumed the role of executive director at 92 News Television, bringing extensive experience in journalism. Previously, he worked with BOL Television and has held significant positions at various news networks.

ISLAMABAD: Nasir Baig Chughtai, one of the most prominent names in broadcast and print journalism, has formally assumed charge at 92 News Television as executive director news, current affairs and programming.

JournalismPakistan.com reported last month he had signed up with the channel. However, his designation was not known then. NBC, as he is popularly known, arrives at 92 News from BOL Television, that ran into problems and could never see light of the day.

Chughtai is a senior journalist and led Geo's launch team in Dubai and served in various capacities. At one point he was their executive director. He has also had stints at ARY News and Abb Takk TV.

In the 1980s he remained associated with Urdu daily Jang serving in such positions as chief news editor and deputy editor.
