Najam Sethi could soon return to television

ISLAMABAD – Najam Sethi, senior journalist, political analyst and the current chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) may join the soon to be launched GNN Television.

According to insiders, Sethi visited the offices of the upcoming channel along with colleague Muneeb Farooq.

His visit is seen as an indication that he may well return to the television screen as an analyst with presenter Farooq.

With the change of government, it appears unlikely that the winning Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf will want him at the helm of PCB.

Before joining PCB, Sethi appeared in the program Apas Ki Baat on Geo Television. He is also the editor-in-chief of weekly The Friday Times. His spouse Jugnu Mohsin is the weekly newspaper’s editor. She also appears regularly on television and won the Punjab Assembly seat from PP-184, Okara, as an independent candidate in last month’s elections.
