Mishal bags Broadcaster of the Year award
ISLAMABAD: British Pakistani journalist Mishal Husain of BBC has won Broadcaster of the Year award at the London Press Club awards.
 
She was nominated alongside Channel 4 News’ Matt Frei, BBC social affairs correspondent Alison Holt and BBC global health reporter Tulip Mazumdar.
 
Muslim Council of Britain congratulated the journalist, saying the award was richly-deserved.
 
She thanked everyone for the congratulatory messages on twitter and said she was proud to be in the company of her fellow nominees.
 
She has previously worked on various projects; her first job being with Bloomberg Television in London in 1996, where she was producer and sometimes presenter. She has also worked for BBC World News and BBC News channel.
