Mazhar Barlas and Ali Raza Alvi have transitioned from Such News to GTV, where they will host the primetime show Red Zone. This move highlights their significant contributions to journalism in Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD — Mazhar Barlas and Ali Raza Alvi have quit Such News and joined GTV, where they have been allotted the primetime 7:00 pm slot.

Their show is named Red Zone, and interestingly, the news organization’s office is also located in the town’s red zone.

At Such News, the two used to host the program Talk @ 7 from Monday through Thursday.

Barlas is a seasoned journalist, anchor, and analyst. Beside Such, he has worked for Daily Ausaf, Apna TV, and PTV. He also writes columns for the Jang newspaper.

Alvi is a prominent unionist and was a former president and general secretary of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ).

During his career, he was associated with Jang, Express, Daily Pakistan, and various other organizations. For more than ten years, he hosted a live show at PBC. He is also an analyst and regularly participates in current affairs talk shows. He is also a columnist for Daily Express.
