ISLAMABAD: Prominent anchorpersons Masood Raza (pictured) and Huma Amir Shah will host a morning show on upcoming BOL News Television. A source tells JournalismPakistan.com the channel's management has been working on the design of the morning show while both journalists rehearse for the program. Shah is a broadcast journalist and has hosted morning shows and current affair programs on numerous channels including PTV, Aaj TV, Express 24/7 (defunct) and PTV World. She graduated from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, in Defense and Strategic Studies in 1999. Raza started his career in broadcast journalism as a newscaster/host from Geo TV in Karachi. He also hosted “Aaj Kamran Khan K Sath” on the Geo TV in the absence of senior anchorperson Kamran Khan. The source said the management first asked Waseem Badami to co-host the morning show with Huma Amir Shah but the latter declined to do so. Badami resigned from BOL News and rejoined ARY News.
