Malick to take over at PTV soon

Muhammad Malick is poised to take over as managing director of Pakistan Television (PTV) from Mustafa Kamal, who is currently serving as acting MD. With over 20 years in journalism, Malick has previously held key editorial roles in both print and electronic media.

A senior journalist, Malick has bid farewell to Dunya TV where he hosted the program Dunya@8 with Malick.

In a journalistic career spanning over two decades, he held top editorial positions in both print and electronic media. Before joining Dunya, he was the Resident Editor at The News, Islamabad.

According to PTV website www.ptv.com.pk, "the managing director is duly appointed by the Government of Pakistan and approved by the Board of Directors. He is the administrative and executive Head of the corporation. He is the competent authority to implement rules for the corporation and its employees."

Mustafa Kamal is the acting managing director of PTV.
