Journalist Almas Haider secures HEC scholarship for research in Russia

ISLAMABAD—Almas Haider Naqvi, a senior journalist from Dunya Media Group, has been awarded the Higher Education Commission's privileged Scholarship International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP).

Under this scholarship, Naqvi will travel to Russia's top-ranked Lomosonovo Moscow State University (MSU) for six months to complete his doctoral research.

Naqvi is a seasoned journalist having a strong professional and academic background. At Dunya Media Group, he covers diplomacy, foreign policy parliament, politics, and the election process.
