JournalismPakistan.com unveils new tagline marking global expansion
JournalismPakistan.com unveils its new tagline, Linking Journalism Worldwide, marking its global expansion and evolution from 'The Face of Pakistani Media' to an international platform.

ISLAMABAD — JournalismPakistan.com has unveiled a new tagline, “Linking Journalism Worldwide,” marking another milestone in the platform’s evolution and reflecting its expanding global outlook. The move highlights JP’s commitment to connecting readers, stories, and perspectives across borders, not only for journalists but for everyone who values credible, independent, and meaningful journalism.

Since its launch in 2009, JournalismPakistan.com has undergone a remarkable transformation. Its first tagline, “The Face of Pakistani Media,” captured its early mission to represent and reflect the country’s media landscape. A few years later, this was replaced with “Media Insiders,” emphasizing JP’s role as a trusted source for media news and insights. The next iteration, “Because Media Matters,” underlined the platform’s belief in journalism’s social responsibility and impact.

Now, as JournalismPakistan enters a new phase with an expanding international footprint, “Linking Journalism Worldwide” perfectly encapsulates its broader mission. The new tagline signals a shift from a primarily national focus to a global one, resonating with both media professionals and the wider audience seeking trustworthy journalism.

Over time, JP has broadened its coverage beyond Pakistan, introducing the Asia and World sections and, most recently, a dedicated Middle East section. These additions have strengthened JP’s presence as a platform that not only reports but connects, bridging regions and perspectives to promote understanding and informed discussion.

Imran Naeem Ahmad, editor and co-founder of JournalismPakistan.com, said the change reflects the platform’s natural growth.

“When we started in 2009, our focus was the Pakistani media scene. As the years passed, our readership grew, and our coverage expanded,” Ahmad said. “Having worked in Pakistan, the Middle East, and with international newspapers, I’ve seen firsthand how journalism connects people everywhere. Our new tagline, ‘Linking Journalism Worldwide’, expresses that belief. It’s about connecting audiences, journalists, and stories across borders.”

Ahmad added that the expansion of JP’s Asia, World, and Middle East sections has made it possible to deliver a wider range of credible, balanced coverage. “Good journalism isn’t limited by geography,” he said. “It links societies and encourages shared understanding; that’s what JP stands for today.”

Founded in Islamabad, JournalismPakistan.com has built a loyal readership at home and abroad, offering news, commentary, and insight on journalism, media trends, press freedom, and public interest stories. The new tagline marks a defining step forward as JP continues to evolve from a national brand into a truly global platform.
