ISLAMABAD: A senior member of Javed Chaudhry’s team has denied the senior anchor and host of program Kal Tak on Express News Television has been fired.
“Javed Sahib is associated with Express News, and you can watch his routine program Kal Tak @10pm tonight,” the team member said in a message to JournalismPakistan.com.
There were reports that Javed was sacked following a fight with another Express News anchor Shahzeb Khanzada over occupation of studio.
Those in the know say that the two program hosts have one studio where both conduct their respective shows.
Reports say both journalists exchanged hot words and traded punches. Shahzeb was said to be hurt in the clash and had to be hospitalized.
