ISLAMABAD—Director General of ISI, Lt. Gen. Nadeem Ahmed Anjum, on Thursday called for bringing ARY CEO Salman Iqbal (pictured) back to Pakistan and made part of the probe into journalist Arshad Sharif's murder.
He addressed a press conference in Islamabad with DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Babar Iftikhar.
The DG ISI said that after the journalist's death in Kenya, fingers have been pointed toward the army. "It has to be determined who exactly benefitted from his killing."
He added that everyone should wait for the report from the inquiry commission. Until the report is released, it is not appropriate to make allegations".
