ISLAMABAD—Journalist Imran Riaz Khan (pictured) has called Fahd Husain, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Public Policy & Strategic Communication, a coward for not raising his voice over Khan's arrest by the coalition government.
In a tweet, Khan said Husain stands exposed. "You are exposed @Fahdhusain. We were arrested and tortured by your Govt and you remained silent and enjoyed ministerial status. You are such a failure and coward."
Fahd joined the coalition government in May this year. When joining the government, he was the resident editor of the daily Dawn in Islamabad.
Replying to Khan's tweet, Fahd decided not to get into a confrontation. "Dear Imran because we share very good professional memories of working together, I cannot bring myself to respond in such language. I can only wish you well and pray for your success. Stay blessed."
