Imran Riaz Khan blasts Sohail Warraich, calls him a 'tout'
In a recent vlog, Imran Riaz Khan criticized columnist Sohail Warraich for his comments urging Imran Khan to compromise with the establishment. Riaz accused Warraich of being a 'tout' and reminded audiences of past threats against Khan.

ISLAMABAD—In his latest vlog, Imran Riaz Khan has labeled columnist Sohail Warriach a “tout” for the establishment.

Commenting on Warriach’s recent article suggesting that former Prime Minister Imran Khan apologize and seek a compromise with the establishment, Riaz expressed astonishment that a journalist would issue veiled threats after meeting with Field Marshal Asim Munir. “In the past, touts have been hired to warn Imran Khan, but now a better tout has been selected for this purpose,” he said.

Khan, who has nearly six million followers on his YouTube channel, regularly posts two vlogs daily, each averaging close to one million views.

“When Imran Khan has himself made it clear multiple times that he will not cut a deal with the establishment, Sohail Warriach is threatening him that his end would be like Bhutto,” he added.

After facing multiple arrests and a four-month disappearance, Imran Riaz left Pakistan under mysterious circumstances in December 2024 and is currently in the UK.

In his column, Sohail Warriach also criticized YouTubers, claiming they are cashing in on Imran Khan’s name and pushing the PTI agenda rather than Khan himself.

Riaz cited a 2019 article by Warriach in which Pakistan was described as progressing under the leadership of then COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa, who received a three-year extension. The piece highlighted Lt. General Faiz Hameed, then ISI chief, as an “iron man” assisting Bajwa and potentially succeeding him as army chief, recommending two terms for Hameed to continue Bajwa’s policies.

Lt. General (Retd.) Faiz Hameed was arrested in August 2024 following a Supreme Court-ordered inquiry into alleged misconduct linked to the Top City housing project. Formally charge-sheeted under the Pakistan Army Act, he is now undergoing a Field General Court Martial (FGCM).

“I did not want to say this, but this person (Warriach) is a lifelong obedient of the army generals,” Imran Riaz asserted.
