Imran Khan takes to radio to reach KP people

Imran Khan will go live on Radio Pakhtunkhwa tomorrow to listen to the concerns of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa residents. This event aims to improve communication between the public and officials.
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan will go live tomorrow (Saturday) on Radio Pakhtunkhwa 92.2 to listen to problems of people living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Listeners in other parts of the country can also listen to him through Awaz Groups of Radio in Punjab, FM-99 in Islamabad and Abbottabad, FM-93 and FM-94 in Charsada and Swabi respectively, and FM-97 in Dera Ismail Khan.
People can ask questions and share their problems with Khan by using Facebook, Twitter and SMS. For live calls, he can be reached at 091-9214199.
This is the second time he is interacting with the KP people through radio. His first interaction was on Feb 13.
“Imran Khan has decided to bridge the communication gap in KP through radio as this is an effective medium to reach the people, especially in rural areas,” a member of PTI told JournalismPakistan.com.
He said that Khan would listen to grievances of the public any day once a month on radio and would also issue necessary directives to relevant ministers and departments for resolving the problems.
“Some people complained to Khan about lack of coordination between people and the KP ministers and that’s the reason he has decided to be on radio,” he said.
