ISLAMABAD—The federal government has formed a three-member high-profile committee to investigate the killing of well-known anchor and senior journalist Arshad Sharif, who was shot dead by police in Kenya.

The Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, issued a notification on October 25, forming a committee investigating Sharif's murder.
