Gharidah Farooqi likely to return to Aaj
Gharidah Farooqi is reportedly heading back to Aaj News after a short time at GNN Television. This follows notable exits at GNN, raising concerns about the channel's stability.

ISLAMABAD – Prominent presenter Gharidah Farooqi is likely to return to Aaj News soon, a little over two months after joining GNN Television.

Insiders tell JournalismPakistan.com she has had a meeting with Aaj managers in which the modalities for her return were finalized.

While she looks set to come back to Aaj, all does not seem well at GNN.

The newly-launched channel has seen the arrival and quick exit of some popular names, among them Hamid Mir and Muneeb Farooq.

Mir had joined GNN as president but returned to Geo only after two months. He did not cite the reason for quitting GNN.

Muneeb who hosts Aapas Ki Baat on Geo also had a short stint at GNN.
