ISLAMABAD—After taking oath as the federal minister for information and broadcasting, Murtaza Solagni has joined the list of journalists who opted to serve as minister or advisor.
Solangi visited the Information Ministry on Thursday and met with the officials.
In a tweet, Solangi, who has served as the director general of Radio Pakistan, said, “The new role has legal and constitutional responsibilities quite different from the position of an independent analysts and journalist.”
Before joining the caretaker government, Solangi worked with Suno News as director public affairs.
