ISLAMABAD - Digital Journalists of Pakistan Facebook Group is running an online survey to have an understanding of salaries paid to journalists.
Jahanzaib Haque, the group’s administrator, tells JournalismPakistan.com that the ‘anonymous’ survey aims to bring transparency and clarity to the issues surrounding salaries.
“The survey will provide insight into pay scales, structural imbalances, biases, and discrepancies; how level (or not) the playing field is based on your gender, city, age, company, the medium you work in; pay cuts; being paid on time and a whole lot more,” Haque said.
