Dawn in PTI blunder again

ISLAMABAD: Dawn has done it again, mixing up Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) with the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a blunder that prompted a 'correction and regret' from its editor.
In its front page story on Wednesday headlined 'Peace talks hampered by exchange of accusations', the paper instead of describing TTP as an outlawed group, referred to PTI as such.
The intro of that story read: "Clouds of doubts surrounding the proposed peace talks between the government and the outlawed Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) further thickened on Tuesday......"
It is not the first time that the widely read paper has blundered when it comes to PTI. On November 10, the paper referred to TTP leader Hakeemullah Mehsud killed in a US drone attack as being a "ruthless PTI leader."
The paper on Thursday apologized for the mistake and said this negligence in editing was being investigated.
