The Cinema Exhibitors Association in Pakistan has announced a boycott of Indian films. This decision follows tensions arising from military actions and will also see an effort to regulate Indian advertisements in the country.Summary
ISLAMABAD – Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Tuesday that the Cinema Exhibitors Association had boycotted Indian content.
He announced on Twitter that no Indian movie would be released in Pakistan.

The announcement comes in the wake of Indian fighter jets intruding into Pakistani airspace on Tuesday morning.
The minister also said that he had directed the electronic media regulator to act against made in India commercials aired on Pakistan channels.
