Chief justice says news organizations must pay staff salaries as ordered
The Chief Justice of Pakistan addressed a group of journalists regarding delayed salary payments. He ordered media owners to comply with salary payments or face strict action.

LAHORE - A group of journalists from the electronic and print media called on the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar at the Supreme Court Branch Registry Lahore on Thursday.

They thanked him for his concern over the delay in payment of salaries and dues to media workers.

The chief justice said that all media owners must pay dues and salaries to staff as ordered by this court. He said strict action would be taken against the owners who don’t comply with the court order.
