Capital TV's launch team-member quits

ISLAMABAD: Urooj Raza, one of the top reporters at Capital TV has quit the channel reportedly upset over salary delays and breach of promises.

Insiders also cite the arrival of the new Bureau Chief Mazhar Tufail as one of the reasons for Urooj deciding to part ways.

She was on the team that helped launch the channel last year in April. Her colleagues say she was hard-working but never got the acknowledgement she deserved.

Although Urooj has a number of offers from both electronic and print media, JournalismPakistan.com has learnt she is likely to host a show on Roze TV due to go on air soon.
