BOL terms Aamir Liaquat's Twitter resignation 'unprofessional' conduct
BOL News condemned Aamir Liaquat's announcement of his resignation via Twitter, labeling it unprofessional. The channel emphasized the importance of honoring contractual agreements.

ISLAMABAD – BOL News said Saturday it received no prior notice from anchor and Executive President Aamir Liaquat who announced he had quit the channel through Twitter.

BOL’s Management has noticed Dr. Aamir Liaquat’s tweet in which he has mentioned that his association with BOL has come to an end,” the channel said in a statement.

BOL noted that announcing his decision on Twitter “is a thoroughly unprofessional practice.”

It said that “absolute disregard for his work & contractual obligations with BOL shows the lack of professional ethics on Dr. Aamir Liaquat’s end.”
