KARACHI - BOL which was to be Pakistan’s biggest media house, has launched a magazine named BOL Narratives.
By launching it, BOL said the group was fighting back against odds and it will now have a voice. A BOL spokesman said Monday that so far people were deprived of BOL's version and now they will learn first-hand about the shackled group through this new magazine.
Priced at Rs300, the magazine will also have video version and can also be purchased online.
BOL News was dealt a telling blow by a New York Times story in May last year that claimed the network's parent company Axact was involved in selling fake degrees and diplomas.
That spelled disaster for the channel from which it could never recover. The NYT story eventually led to top man Shoaib Shaikh's arrest, sealing of Axact offices, and suspension of BOL Network's licenses.
