ARY News to increase monthly pay of lower staff by 80 percent
ARY News announced an 80 percent salary increase for lower-level staff earning Rs20,000. This decision follows a request from Prime Minister Imran Khan to raise employee wages across profitable companies.

ISLAMABAD—ARY News has announced a pay raise for lower-level employees receiving a monthly salary of Rs20,000.

The President & CEO of the ARY Digital Network, Salman Iqbal, responding to the call of Prime Minister Imran Khan, confirmed that the lower staff would be given a raise of 80 percent.

Prime Minister Imran also appreciated the ARY chief for responding to his call and raising employees' salaries. "I am appealing to other companies who have made record profits during the past year also to raise salaries of their employees," he stated in a social media post.

The premier had earlier asked the corporate sector making a profit of Rs980 billion to increase the salaries of their staff.
