ARY News signs up Rauf Klasra
Rauf Klasra has left 92 News to join ARY News as a current affairs host. He is expected to continue at 92 News until mid-May.
ISLAMABAD: Seasoned journalist and anchorperson Rauf Klasra has resigned from 92 News Television and joined ARY News where he will host a current affairs program.
“I have joined @ARYNEWSOFFICIAL. However I will continue my show @92newschannel till May 15. Thank you @Salman_ARY 4 showing confidence in me,” he tweeted Friday.
At 92 News, he was co-hosting a program “Muqabil” along with Amir Mateen who has also now joined ARY News.
Hailing from South Punjab, Klasra came to Islamabad in the mid-90s and has worked with Dawn, The News, The Express Tribune and Rohi TV. He has also authored two books.
